Who is Kevon?
Kevon Stewart became the District 6 Director in October 2024, representing over 80,000 members across Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces of Canada.
Born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, Stewart moved to Canada with his family at age seven. He graduated from York University in Toronto, studying kinesiology and geography, with plans to teach and open a community centre. Instead, he began working as a machine operator at a steel plant in Scarborough, Ontario, where he joined his local union.
